Team Framingham

Annually Team Framingham consists of 22 Framingham residents or town employees who are training for the Boston Marathon and raising funds for up to five local charities. Each December, the Team Framingham Steering Committee randomly select 20 to 25 Framingham residents or employees of the City of Framingham and Framingham Public Schools to participate in the Boston Marathon as part of Team Framingham. Applications for runners interested in participating in the random selection process for these coveted invitation entry numbers are made available on the City of Framingham's website in October. From 2016-2018 the Framingham High School Foundation was selected as one of the five local charities.
